I guess it's time to knock all the deadfall down around here. It's going to be an annual thing for me here in Washington.
These sounds recorded near Boulder City have a couple of intriguing wood knocks. Listen closely to the howl at the end. The Howl suggests Coyote to me. I am no fan of identifying creature sounds at a distance. They are almost always misidentified. Besides I still believe that Sasquatch is not going to vocalize as much as people assume. An animal or being that wants to hide is not going to call Olly Olly Oxen Free when people are sneaking around it's woods. Wood knocks are also questionable. The loud knock heard on this sounds like a log falling and hitting something solid like a rock. My wife and I were awoken just the other night because a raccoon knocked a deadfall loose onto the driveway. It sounded much like that knock.as it hit a rock rather hard.
