These sounds recorded near Boulder City have a couple of intriguing wood knocks. Listen closely to the howl at the end. The Howl suggests Coyote to me. I am no fan of identifying creature sounds at a distance. They are almost always misidentified. Besides I still believe that Sasquatch is not going to vocalize as much as people assume.

I have been reading on various sites and blogs that many of the contributors to those sites and blogs have sources close to the project or "sources" that say there will be a release soon. Some such as Robert Lindsay say that there will be positive findings. Here is an excerpt from his blog posted on his blog, Beyond Highbrow. "Dr. Bryan Sykes study may well prove that Bigfoots exist. From multiple sources, I have now received the news that not only will the Sykes DNA study publish soon, it will also prove that Bigfoots exist. None of the sources would tell me this in so many words, but they certainly implied that the findings would be positive. So I am looking forward to publication of the study. On the other hand, it is possible though not likely that the sources are all wrong and the study could be negative." Over on Cryptomundo, Craig Woolheater posted a video of a Possible Skunk Ape on trailcam photos that appears to be some sort of primate but my take on it is quite different. Check the video of the photos showing something but for my money this isn't a skunk ape. This particular creature looks like a stuffed animal I found at a garage sale a while back. Unfortunately I didn't buy it but I recognize the exact shape as that of the very same stuffed animal. Even if it cannot be identified as a stuffed critter, the shape generally resembles a lemur and not a great ape of any kind. Great apes as far as I know, do not have tails. Go to google images and make some comparisons yourselves. Keep in mind that not all lemurs are ring tailed. Google image lemur search Google Juvenile Great Ape search |
